However, medical work in Germany can only be carried out with a license to practice medicine. There are several ways to achieve this. Our employees support you every single step.

While doctors from European countries take an aptitude test in order to obtain a license to practice medicine, interested parties from non-European countries usually have to undergo an examination of the equivalence of their training certificates. If the equivalence is not recognized by the German examination boards, it takes place a knowledge test that is carried out on the basis of the license to practice medicine.

Gecko Medical also runs courses for language acquisition in its own language schools and supports you in all necessary measures for entry, residence and work permits.

A basic requirement for working in Germany is sufficient language skills at a B2 / C1 level, some of which you can acquire here in Germany.
